Will completed his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UW- Stout in Wisconsin. He lived in Bulgaria and Morocco in his past and believes that it’s possible to awaken parts of ourselves that bring a happier life with less suffering through flexibility, open-mindedness, and courage. He works with his clients by evoking the intrinsic motivations they have to change and grow, while validating and showing compassion in times throughout the healing journey.
Will works with clients from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. He is comfortable working with a wide range of presenting concerns that clients come with and adapts to the needs of the client through an eclectic orientation using person-centered, CBT, CPT, MI, emotion-focused, mindfulness and meditation, and play therapy approaches predominantly.
Will loves outdoor adventures including rock climbing, surfing, backpacking, and trail running. He believes that exploration even locally and finding new passions are helpful for mental health. His goals when working with his clients are to learn their identity and story, accept them fully, and use his counseling training to support them on their path to reducing suffering, while building on their goals, self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-love.
