Our Graduate Interns
We are proud to offer affordable therapy services provided by our dedicated graduate counseling interns. These interns are passionate about supporting individuals on their mental health journey and offer high-quality care under the close supervision of licensed professionals. Serving clients across Oregon, our interns provide compassionate and confidential counseling at a reduced cost, making therapy more accessible to those in need. To ensure quality of care and for training purposes, all sessions are recorded and reviewed by supervisors. We deeply value the commitment and growth of our interns as they help create a supportive and healing space for our community.
Virginia Earwicker is a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Liberty University and will start her practicum and internship at MRCC in May 2026. As a therapist, she believes each person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth when met with empathy, respect, and genuine care. Virginia strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood.
Her counseling approach is primarily person-centered, and she seeks to walk alongside clients as they develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges. Virginia is passionate about supporting individuals who are working through grief, loss, relational pain, or life transitions. She values collaborating with clients to help them move toward meaningful growth and well-being, and she is able to incorporate a faith-based perspective for those who wish to integrate it into their counseling experience.
Ami Formica is a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at OSU-Cascades and is currently completing her internship at MRCC. As a therapist, she believes that healing begins in a space of safety, authenticity, and connection. She works from a person-centered approach, viewing each client as the expert of their own life and walking alongside them with empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. Grounded in attachment theory, she pays close attention to how early relational patterns may influence current relationships and one’s sense of self. Ami works with individuals—both teens and adults—addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-image issues, and social media addiction. She also supports clients navigating life transitions and perinatal mental health challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking greater clarity, her goal is to provide a therapeutic space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
