Donna Blankenship
Professional Counselor Associate (Starting August 15th 2025)
Donna is a passionate advocate for children and families, dedicating over 20 years to empowering and encouraging individuals in various classroom settings. With dual master's degrees in Education and Counseling, she brings a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges that children and families face in today's world. Currently, she is in the process of obtaining her Synergetic Play Therapy certification, and her RPT (registered play therapist). Her playroom is a welcoming place that invites children to process their struggles in a creative developmentally respectful way.
Her extensive experience with students of all ages and backgrounds has equipped her with invaluable insights into the individual needs and developmental stages of children and adolescents. Donna is committed to helping families navigate challenges and build stronger, more resilient relationships. She enjoys collaborating with children and their families/caregivers to foster growth and understanding.
Donna works with families and individuals to develop effective communication skills, build healthy relationships, and manage stress and anxiety. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and is dedicated to working closely with her clients to identify their strengths and create personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
