Upcoming EFT Events.
Bend EFT Core Skills
Core Skills is designed to provide a deeper and more comprehensive exploration of each stage, step, and intervention that make up the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
The first Core Skills weekend focuses on Stage 1, while the second weekend explores Stage 2 and working with attachment injuries. This training offers more nuanced dyadic instruction and richer experiential learning opportunities than the Externship.
Completion of Core Skills is required for certification, and participants must present a clip of their own EFT couples therapy sessions during the training. The training includes a minimum of 48 hours of in-depth instruction, practice, and feedback, culminating in a crucial step towards EFT certification, following the standards established by the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
Participants must have completed an EFT Externship prior to attending. Core Skills training can be applied toward certification, though final decisions regarding readiness are determined by ICEEFT (www.iceeft.com).
EFT Externships and Advanced Core Skills trainings are intended for mental health professionals and trainees, and participants are required to indicate their professional affiliation upon registration.
