Dr. Edward Ewe is a licensed professional counselor and couples therapist in Bend, Oregon, serving clients across Washington and Oregon. He is a certified ICEEFT Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT), helping couples deescalate, improve communication and repairs, and rebuild trust after challenges such as infidelity. In addition to couples counseling, Dr. Ewe provides support for grief and loss, works with individuals, and offers clinical supervision for associate counselors. He provides counseling and therapy services to clients throughout Oregon and Washington.

With experience spanning both private and nonprofit sectors, Dr. Ewe has provided counseling to individuals, couples, and families, and has served as a Site Director for a community mental health clinic. As a trained Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT), his clinical focus includes supporting individuals dealing with grief and loss, offering relationship and couples counseling, and providing individual therapy. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a distinctive and highly effective therapeutic approach that helps individuals understand and strengthen their emotional bonds with themselves and others. In addition, Dr. Ewe provides supervision to recently graduated and associate counselors.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Ewe previously served as an Associate Clinical Counseling Professor in the OSU-Cascades Master of Counseling program, where he was dedicated to fostering student learning and encouraging a lifelong commitment to professional growth. He now teaches in various counselor education programs.

During his doctoral studies at Oregon State University, Dr. Ewe’s research focused on professional identity development among counseling students. His current interests include gatekeeping, grief and loss, and clinical supervision—topics on which he has presented at national and international conferences for organizations such as the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors (ACES). In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Ewe received the WACES Outstanding Mentor Award in 2021.
