Dylan Gassert

Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

Dylan Gassert is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Oregon with a Master’s degree from Regis University. His approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and curiosity, and shaped by a background in emergency medicine and wilderness therapy. Dylan works with individuals, couples, and families, with a particular passion for supporting adult men as they navigate emotional expression, identity, and relationship challenges.

Drawing from Emotionally Focused, Solution-Focused, and strength-based therapies, Dylan helps clients explore their emotional worlds, identify patterns, and move toward meaningful change with clarity and purpose. In his work with couples, he views many relational struggles as co-created impasses, where once-useful patterns have become rigid and disconnecting. Dylan helps partners identify these patterns, clarify shared goals, and engage in new emotional experiences that foster deeper understanding and connection.

His work is client-centered and experiential, often incorporating nature-based perspectives that honor the power of presence, connection, and growth. Dylan values creating a non-judgmental, collaborative space where clients feel seen not only for their struggles but also for their resilience. He welcomes clients from all backgrounds and is committed to fostering safe, supportive relationships as the foundation for healing.

Outside the therapy room, Dylan finds joy in the outdoors—hiking, boating, or simply walking with his dog—and believes deeply in the restorative power of nature, movement, and play.
