Jenny Lindsey
Professional Counselor Associate (Starting August 1st 2025)
My work centers on creating a compassionate, supportive space where healing can unfold. I work with individuals aged 18 and older navigating life transitions, grief, anxiety, and the impact of trauma—particularly from childhood experiences or harmful relationship dynamics, including intimate partner violence. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and body-based techniques that harness the power of sensation and movement, I help you reconnect with your emotions, deepen your self-awareness, and build stronger relationships with your world, your community, and especially with yourself.
Through our work together, we’ll steadily uncover the layers of your authentic self that may have been buried or feel lost, and give those parts of you a voice and a space to heal. In session, I tend to speak candidly and bring humor when appropriate. I value the unique flow that emerges with each person I work with. Whether you're new to counseling or have been on this path for a while, my role is to partner with you, supporting your progress toward a more solid sense of self, a more grounded and peaceful approach to life, and an empowered future.
I am passionate about human rights and committed to cultural humility. I recognize that I embody a convergence of privileged identities, and I strive to be an ally, always centering you as the expert of your own lived experience. I completed my Master of Counseling at Oregon State University-Cascades, including coursework in trauma-informed counseling, lifespan development, social and cultural perspectives, and more.
Outside of my clinical work, I love spending time outdoors with my partner and our dog—especially near bodies of water. I'm an avid fiction reader, art enthusiast, and tea drinker. My happiest places are wherever I feel warm—cozied by a fire or basking in the afternoon sun.
