Stefanie Obregozo is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at OSU-Cascades and will be starting internship with MRCC in June 2026.

Originally from San Francisco, Stef graduated from Dominican University of California in 2004 and went on to work in the health and fitness industry for nearly two decades. As a former personal trainer and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, she loves working with people toward their vision of wellbeing. Her transition to a career in mental health was born of her own personal challenges, and subsequent growth through counseling.

Stef’s approach to counseling is one of warmth, openness, and curiosity. Through a somatic-based and solution-focused lens, she supports her clients in processing difficult experiences while co-creating a practical path forward. She strives to empower her clients with tools to help navigate life’s challenges as they gain a deeper understanding of self and relationship to others.

Currently, Stef works with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, chronic pain, and relational conflict. Her approach is culturally sensitive and collaborative in nature, and she welcomes feedback from her clients every step of the way. She believes that mental health support should be accessible to all, offering low-and-no-cost counseling both in-person and via telehealth.

Outside of study and work, Stef enjoys spending quality time with her partner, attending live music events, and discovering new food trucks around town.
